Academic Calendar (pp. 1-7)
p. 6 - On-site registration for spring, 2009 will begin on November 10 rather than November 24 as listed on the calendar. November 10 is also the same day that online and phone registration begins.
p. 7 - Classes resume after the mid-semester break on March 16 rather than March 17 as indicated in the 08/09 calendar.

p. 26 - Chart A - TSI Complete/Exempt: The ACT and SAT statements regarding TSI exemptions have been reworded to provide clarity. The revisions are as follows: **ACT 23 composite and 19 subject score. **SAT 1070 composite and 500 subject score. The revised Chart A - TSI Complete/Exempt can be found at http://www.lonestar.edu.
p. 27 - Under Student Success Initiative (SSI) - For clarification purposes, amend the following sentence: "All associate degrees require completion of MATH 0308 or higher based on degree requirements." Change to: "All associate degrees and certificates over 42 credit hours require completion of MATH 0308 or higher and college level reading and writing or higher based on degree requirements."
p. 27 - CHART B Course Placement Scores - Effective September 9, 2008, new math placement scores will go into effect for Lone Star College System. New students who test September 9 or later will be placed based on the new placement scores at http://www.lonestar.edu.
Students who retest September 9 or later will be able to use the highest placement earned based on approved LSCS tests and guidelines.
p. 28 - English as a second language placement score chart - This chart is no longer valid. Replace the placement chart with the information at http://www.lonestar.edu.

Colleague can not be programmed to include this group of courses as the coreqs. Advisors should verify that students are in the appropriate corequisite courses and may need to "override" when registering students (p. 219).
HITT 1166 - Practicum - Health Information Technology - Beginning spring, 2009, remove HITT 1345 as a prerequisite (p. 240).
HYDR 1309 - Basic Fluid Power I (Hydraulics) - Beginning spring, 2009, change lecture/lab combination from 1 hr. lec., 3 hrs. lab. to 2 hrs. lec., 3 hrs. lab. (p. 244).
