COMPUTERIZED PERSONALITY AND CAREER ASSESSMENTS

These assessments are available by counselor referral only. Please visit the Counseling Office located in the Student Services building, room 109 for a referral form. You will then report to the Assessment Center located in the Student Services building, room 105 with a photo ID.

Strong Interest Inventory       Cost:$9.95                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                Generates a list of potentially compatible careers based on an individual's strongest areas of interest. It identifies an individual's top three possible occupational interest themes, their highest scores on over 20 basic interest scales, the 10 most compatible and 5 least compatible occupations, and suggests related college majors and courses. A very useful tool to assist with career decision making.

Myer-Briggs Type Indictor (MBTI)       Cost:$15.95                                                                                                                                                                                                                                      Identifies an individual's 4-letter personality type and provides a common language for how we interact with the world and each other. The insights gained are helpful to the career decision making process and to professional and interpersonal relationships.
