Lone Star College to Develop Seventh Campus

Lone Star College has announced plans to create a seventh campus that will cover the areas of the current LSC-Fairbanks Center, LSC-Greenspoint Center, LSC-Victory Center, as well as the planned LSC-East Aldine Center.

Overall Headcount

LSC-Campus 7 will include the current LSC-Fairbanks Center, LSC-Greenspoint Center and LSC-Victory Center along with the new LSC-East Aldine Center location scheduled to open in fall 2019. The following chart shows the overall headcount versus the average community

FTIC Enrollment

LSC-Fairbanks Center, LSC-Greenspoint Center and LSC-Victory Center enrollment percentages for First Time in College students for fall 2016. FTIC enrollment has been uneven at each center.

Diversity

The centers are among the most diverse in LSC with over 70% of the students coming from Black or Hispanic descent. Bar graph represents fall 2016.

Success Rates

The student success rates for each center has steadily increased over the past four years. Success rates at LSC-Fairbanks Center and LSC-Victory Center have made the most significant gains. In addition, nearly 2% of all LSC-CyFair and LSC-North Harris graduates received
30 hours at the centers.
