To Support student success by proactively promoting a safe environment.
Our Purpose
Provide consultation and support to faculty, staff and administration in assisting students who display concerning or disruptive behaviors:
- Recommend appropriate intervention strategies
- Connect students with needed campus and community resources
Roles and Responsibilities
Engage in early intervention and support that prevents a behavioral concern from rising to the level of a threat or crisis
- Set a standard for reporting and assessing behavioral concerns through professional development training programs for employees
- Provide consultation, education and support to faculty, staff, and administration in assisting students who display disconcerting or disruptive behaviors
- To support student success by proactively promoting a safe environment
- Recommend appropriate intervention strategies and/or referrals when needed
- Connect students with needed campus and community resources
