The Lone Star College-University Park Biology Department offers a variety of courses designed to teach students cellular and molecular biology, biochemistry, classical and human genetics, mechanisms of evolution, and the ability to apply the scientific method.
Courses offered include Biology I and II for Science Majors, Biology I and II for non-science majors, Human Anatomy and Physiology I and II, Introduction to Anatomy and Physiology, Medical Microbiology and General Microbiology. Courses are acceptable for both transfer to four-year institutions as well as support for a number of allied health programs.
Experienced, highly qualified faculty provide Biology instruction in face-to-face, fully online and hybrid formats.
