Women's History Month

Lone Star College recognizes the significant historical contributions and achievements that Women have made in the United States and across the world. These accomplishments have moved society forward in many subjects, including art, business, culture, history, politics and STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics). Join us as we celebrate with various activities and events across the college system.

Women’s History Art Contest
Date & Time: March 5- 19, Submission Deadline is March 19 at 5 p.m.
Location: Finalists will be displayed in the Library (LRNC)
Details: Create a piece of artwork (about the size of a posterboard) around a quote from one of your favorite female artists. Prizes are up for grabs! Email Joshua.Estrada@LoneStar.edu for more submission and contest information. The LSC-CyFair Cultural Appreciation and Engagement Committee is sponsoring this art contest.

Women’s History Trivia Contest

Details: The trivia game will have three rounds with a chance for students to win a prize.

Details: The Office of Student Life in collaboration with Student Services and Communities in Schools will be hosting a Spring Health Fair to provide students, staff and faculty with information regarding low-cost to no-cost resources that could be beneficial to family and friends of the Houston North community!
