Follow the new student checklist below to complete the admissions process and become an LSC-University Park student!
Get Started:
- Complete an LSC Admissions Application
- The first step is to complete the online application for admission. We also encourage students to meet with an adviser on campus for assistance with the application.

- Send high school/college transcripts to Lone Star College
- New students are required to submit documentation of high school completion or its equivalent. For most students this means requesting their official high school transcript to be issued from the high school directly to LSC after graduation.

- Complete the Pre Assessment Activity
- Note: the pre-assessment activity is ONLY required for those students taking the Texas Success Initiative (TSI) Assessment.

- Complete all necessary placement testing and submit scores to Lone Star College
- Placement tests help ensure that students enroll in the courses that best match their academic skills, especially during their first year of college.

- Get a Bacterial Meningitis Vaccination or complete a Conscientious Objection Form
- Texas law requires incoming college students to be vaccinated against bacterial meningitis or provide an exemption request declining the vaccine.
