What is an Adjunct?
Adjunct Faculty are part-time employees hired to teach college-level general education, Associate of Applied Science credit courses, continuing education non-credit courses, or training for our Corporate College. Typically, a few courses per semester; credit 8-16 weeks.

Hiring occurs for these positions year-round. Positions are posted to accumulate pools of applicants for hire as needs arise.

College-level
Most disciplines require a master's degree with 18 credit hours in that discipline.

Associates or bachelor's degree, depending on the program, with several years of experience in that field.

Industry-specific
This varies based on the specialization.
Specialized certifications, degrees, and work experience are considered.
