On Campus Resources

The following resources are available to all LSC-Tomball students.

The Timberwolf Wellness Center is stocked with canned goods, pre-packaged meals, baby products, school supplies, and personal items such as shampoo, household goods, and toiletry items. The purpose of the Timberwolf Wellness Center is to minimize hunger and reduce the financial worries of Lone Star College students by providing free food and additional resources. 

Communities In Schools of Houston
Communities In School is a is a nationwide network of passionate professionals working in public schools to surround students with a community of support, empowering them to stay in school and achieve in life. We provide direct services and referrals for: 
Emergency Needs: Food, Shelter, and Clothing
Supportive Guidance: Family and Personal Concerns
Crisis Intervention: Grief and Trauma
Strategies for Managing Stress, Anxiety, and Depression
Mental Health & Community Resource Referrals
Social and Life Skills Support

Extended Learning Center
Need tutoring? The Extended Learning Center is here to help you succeed. We offer expert tutoring in a variety of subjects and a variety of modes. All tutoring is FREE to Lone Star students.

TRIO Student Support Services
Personal attention, unique services tailored to individual needs, comprehensive support programs, and opportunities for success. Participation is limited to 140 students. Call the TRIO office for an appointment or come by for more information. We provide direct services related to:

Financial Aid Literacy
Transfer Planning
Enrichment Activities

The following are community resources that are available to students: 

Tomball Emergency Assistance Ministries (TEAM) 
TEAM helps low-income families in the Tomball area who need food, clothing, and short-term assistance.

TOMAGWA HealthCare Ministries
TOMAGWA provides quality health care for low-income families and individuals in the Tri-County region of Harris, Montgomery, and Waller Counties.

Society of Samaritans (SOS) 
The purpose of SOS is to untie churches and other non-profit groups in a community partnership to relieve the physical and financial burdens of members within the Montgomery County community.

Waller Assistance and Restoration Ministries, Inc. (W.A.R.M.)
The W.A.R.M. Assistance Office provides supplemental food, clothing, and personal assistance to families in need in the Waller area and Waller Independent School District.
