Academic Counseling

Counselors can help you figure out what may be hindering your academic progress and help guide you in making choices to help address the situation. Examples include:

Personal Counseling

Counselors are available to meet with you to discuss issues that are interfering with your goals. We also give referrals for community resources. Examples include:

• Symptoms of depression, stress, and anxiety
• Self-esteem issues, anger management, goal setting
• Crisis interventions
• Conflict resolution
• Addiction
• Relationships (families, partners, friends)
• Life balance
• Abuse/domestic violence
• Sexual orientations/gender identity

Career Counseling

If you are not sure what career direction to pursue, we offer individual career exploration appointments to help you make decisions about your major, program and career based on your values/interests and the way you view the world. Examples include:

• Career exploration and planning
• Resume/cover letter interviews
• Interview preparation
• Job Connection Day
• Career Fairs
