Dr. Rachel Trackey, Ph.D., LPC-S
Dr. Trackey is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Board-Approved Clinical Supervisor who has worked in private practice, clinical, and higher education settings. She has enjoyed working in the counseling field for more than 20 years and is often asked, “don’t you get tired of listening to people’s problems” to which she replies, “No!” She doesn’t see it as listening to problems. She sees people, their desire for things to be different, and their unique strengths that can make change possible. She firmly believes that we each possess special qualities that make us unique in who we are, what we have to offer, and what we can accomplish. She has a passion for providing students with the confidential, judgment-free space needed to help them tap into those qualities as they work towards their goals. Dr. Trackey's educational background includes a Bachelors of Science in Psychology, a Masters Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a Specialization in Marriage and Family Therapy, and a PhD in Counselor Education and Clinical Supervision. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, family, and friends; connecting with nature; listening to music; and tapping into her creative side. |
