Lone Star College was awarded $112,500 to distribute to students who stopped attending classes due to COVID-19 related issues and would like to return to finish their certificate or degree.
Qualifying students may receive $500-$2,500 annually.
Must have completed 12 hours at Lone Star College or other Texas community college in an approved program.
Full-time and part-time students.
Must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form online at LoneStar.edu/Financial-Aid.
Funding is limited to tuition and fees that are not covered by other Federal or State financial aid.

Eligibility requirements
You may not have been enrolled in an accredited postsecondary institution during Spring 2021
You must:
Be a resident of Texas and eligible for in-state tuition as determined by the institution
File a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at LoneStar.edu/Financial-Aid
Identify how you were affected by COVID-19 using the online form at LoneStar.edu/Reskilling-Support-Fund-Grant
Be within twelve months of completing a Lone Star College credentialed program/degree/certificate at Lone Star College. (See program list below)
Assistance will be provided by a Financial Aid Advisor to complete FAFSA (if needed)
