Our Mission Defined

The LSC-CyFair Women’s Basketball team allows current students to participate in a team sport, develop social skills, engage and demonstrate sportsmanship both on and off the court, have fun, be physically active, and play inter-league games against other clubs and colleges.

Qualifications and Restrictions

In order to participate on the Basketball Team, all students must:

• Be currently enrolled at LSC-CyFair
• Have a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher
• Be enrolled in 6 credit hours at LSC-CyFair
• Be able to attend all practices. Students should arrange their class schedule around these times.

Restrictions include:

• Being on academic probation during any contest. Click here to view our probation and suspension guidelines.
• Currently playing on a varsity team in a related activity or have done so within the same academic year.
• Faculty, staff, or alumni.
• Having prior professional experience in a related activity.

Fall 2024 Tryout Information

Fall 2024 tryouts are tentatively scheduled to be held on August 30, 2024. Time and Location will be announced.
