Lone Star College-Tomball will be recognized as a leader in utilizing grit mindset to develop human potential.

Goals

• Develop a grit certification program for the LSC-Tomball community
• Make LSC-Tomball a grit certified campus
• Create grit mindset awareness and be a resource for other higher education institutions / Be the place where people go to learn how to apply grit mindset and behaviors
• Work with community partners to promote grit within our students both on and off campus
• Convert faculty, staff, and student talent into achievement in the following ways:
  • 80% of the full-time faculty and staff will be grit certified by the end of academic year 2020-2021
  • Increase student persistence, retention, and completion by 2% each academic year.
