Accommodation Appeals
Students have the right to appeal denied accommodations within two weeks of the College denying an accommodation request.
Students have the right to request revisions of their accommodations at any time throughout each semester by contacting the DS Provider to make a request for reconsideration of accommodations.
Accommodation Revisions
Student who are encountering difficulties or disputes related to their accommodations should contact their DS Provider and the Executive Director of Disability Services to seek a resolution.
If a resolution is not agreed upon, students may submit a complaint in the manner described in Section VI.D.12 (Student Civil Rights Complaints). The Executive Director of Disability Services shall be copied on all Student Civil Rights Complaints unless the Executive Director is the respondent to the complaint.
If needed, students can file a complaint at any time with the regional Office of Civil Rights at the U.S. Department of Education or through the civil court system.
