You've Been Nominated!

Congratulations on being nominated to participate in the 2012 Student Symposium! Your professor thinks highly of your performance in his/her class, and wants to brag about you to the rest of the campus. We hope you'll consider participating...

What it entails:

Work with your nominating professor to develop a presentation that's appropriate for your class work. These can take any form that works for you and your material – for example, you might:

• Create a formal presentation complete with PowerPoint show
• Create a less formal presentation, speech or other spoken performance.
• Create a poster to display your work.
• Display your artwork.
• Perform a musical (vocal or instrumental) piece.

What's next?

After you've been nominated by your professor, you'll need to submit the Proposal Form. To submit your Proposal Form visit: 2012 Student Proposals (Link coming soon).

Don't want to present?

Classes and individuals are welcome to attend the student presentations or to walk through the poster displays.
