Jordan Rusk, BS, RPSGT, CCSH
Program Director & Associate Professor, Polysomnography – Lone Star College Kingwood
Jordan is an experienced registered sleep technologist, healthcare educator and program director with a strong background in sleep medicine. She currently serves as the Program Director for Polysomnography at Lone Star College Kingwood, where she leads curriculum development, instruction, and accreditation efforts to ensure students receive high-quality education in the field of sleep technology.
She holds a Bachelor of Health Sciences in Healthcare Education from Kettering College of Medical Arts, an Associate of Applied Science in Polysomnography from Alvin Community College, and previously pursued studies in Ballet and Modern Dance at The Boston Conservatory and The High School for the Performing and Visual Arts in Houston, TX.
With over a decade of experience in sleep medicine and education, Jordan has held key leadership roles, including Sleep Educator at Texas Children’s Hospital, where she developed and accredited an in-house sleep technologist training program, and Program Director at Alvin Community College, overseeing both Polysomnography and Neurodiagnostic Technology programs. She has also taught as an adjunct instructor, mentoring future sleep technologists and contributing to curriculum development.
She is a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) and holds additional certifications in Clinical Sleep Health (CCSH) and Pediatric Sleep. Passionate about education and patient care, she is actively involved in training healthcare professionals, maintaining accreditation standards, and advocating for best practices in sleep medicine.
