LSC-Kingwood Faculty Senate
Our Mission
The Faculty Senate at Lone Star College-Kingwood was established to advocate and to advance the interests of faculty and to promote communication between faculty, administrators, and the Board of Trustees. Faculty members have both the opportunity and responsibility to provide input, to ask questions, and to pose possible solutions to issues of interest or concern to achieve a common vision for the campus and the system. Providing excellence in teaching is central to the mission of the college and the faculty have a major stake in recommendations about instructional methods, content, student assessment, academic freedom, faculty competence, and issues to related to workload and compensation.
