LSC-Montgomery Director of Learning & Engagement

Rachael Covey serves as the Director of Learning & Engagement at Lone Star College-Montgomery. With more than 10 years of experience in higher education, she has experience specifically in the areas of teaching and learning, training, organizational development, change management, and human resources.

Rachael has served in several capacities at Lone Star College over the last twelve years. Before assuming the position of Director of Learning & Engagement in May 2024, Rachael held various positions at Lone Star College to include Human Resources Director, Recruiter, Professional Development Trainer, and Executive Assistant. In addition to her current role, Rachael works as Adjunct Faculty, teaching Human Relations and HR Management.

Rachel’s dedication to education and leadership is reflected in her academic achievements. She earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from Stephen F. Austin State University and a Master of Science in Educational Human Resources Development from Texas A&M University. She also holds a Professional Human Resources Certification (PHR).

Rachael Covey’s passion for her work extends beyond her professional life, as she is actively involved in community initiatives and serves as an inspiration to those around her. She is committed to building meaningful relationships and making a difference at Lone Star College-Montgomery.
