Workforce Programs Scholarships
Workforce Scholarships, provided through a third-party vendor, allow eligible students to obtain the skills needed to successfully reenter the workforce. The scholarship can cover the cost of tuition, fees, books, supplies, and other related costs for individuals who enroll in one of the following Workforce Programs:

Qualifications
Eligibility is based on overall family income levels or individuals who have been laid off and receiving unemployment benefits, or recently exhausted their unemployment benefits and the student must be enrolling in one of the above-mentioned programs.
How to apply
Applications, eligibility and scholarship awards are handled on an individual basis at local Career Offices. If approved for training and awarded a scholarship, the student will return to a Lone Star College campus with a voucher in the amount of the scholarship. A Lone Star College Workforce Advisor will receive the payment voucher from the student and explain processes and procedures.
