Tutoring
LSC-Houston North Library Services offer free online tutoring services for all students enrolled at Lone Star College. All students currently have 90 min of online tutoring with Brainfuse for the rest of the semester and access to Tutor Match which utilizes the campus tutors. In addition, students can schedule one on one WebEx Tutor Sessions.
Option 1: Brainfuse Tutor Match (Accessing Brainfuse Instructions)
Option 2: WebEx Tutoring Session- Student can choose to schedule an appointment with an LSC-Houston North tutor using WebEx Video Communication System. A WebEx tutoring session will be very similar to a face-to-face session, except the session is conducted through WebEx. Tutoring Services include:

*For a virtual session with one of our tutors please email the tutor you would like to meet with to set up your session.
*You can also log in to your MyLoneStar, click on the Virtual Learning tile then Virtual Tutoring, and you will be able to set up an online session though Tutormatch for the subject area you need.

STEP 1:
2 – 3 days before the due date, submit your paper online to: HN-Tutoring@LoneStar.edu from your myLoneStar student email, with the following information:
- A Microsoft Word compatible copy of your paper
- The writing assignment
- Your name
- Your student ID
- The course name and number
- Your professor’s name
- The due date
- The time
If you omit any of the above information, your paper will not be reviewed.
STEP 2:
Check you MyLoneStar email for an email from one of our Writing Center Tutors.
They will contact you to review your assignment, your paper, and their recommendations.
