Lone Star College System has established equivalent course credit for professional certifications and state licensure. Course credit is based on competencies demonstrated through successful completion of the professional certification or state licensure examination. Students must provide evidence of an official, current Texas licensure or professional certificate to receive credit. Credit is generally awarded only for introductory level courses and will not be awarded for core curriculum.
