Lone Star College-University Park and Chick-fil-A join forces for Back-to-School Family Night on July 18

Lone Star College-University Park (LSC-University Park) and Chick-fil-A are teaming up to present an exciting Back-to-School Family Night. Mark your calendars for Tuesday, July 18, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Chick-fil-A at Jones Road and TX-Hwy 249 (21622 TX-249, Houston, TX 77070). 

During the special event, LSC-University Park's Outreach Department and members of the campus' Teachers 2B club will provide face painting, games, and prizes. The collaboration aims to provide an enjoyable dining experience while introducing attendees to the various educational opportunities and programs, like the summer Lions Reading Program, available at LSC-University Park.

The Lions Reading Program is specially tailored for students in grades K-5 and aims to cultivate a love for reading while enhancing reading skills among young learners. 

"We're thrilled to partner with Chick-fil-A to bring a memorable summer event to our local community," said LSC-University Park outreach manager Allyson Bullock. "The Back-to-School Family Night not only offers a fun-filled evening for families but also provides an opportunity to learn about the remarkable educational programs LSC-University Park offers, including our highly regarded Lions Reading Program."
