Maverick Connection: New Student Orientation Sessions Offered Weekly

Learn more about Lone Star College-Montgomery or Lone Star College-Conroe Center during Maverick Connection, a new student orientation program held each week at both campuses.

Maverick Connection, mandatory for all first-time-in-college students, is designed to ease the transition into college and to prepare new students for academic, social and personal success. Students will have the opportunity to tour the campus, meet other students, faculty, and staff, and learn about the academic programs offered. They will also be introduced to the various campus resources available, as well as meet with counselors and advisors who will assist them with the registration process.

At LSC-Montgomery, orientation sessions are offered each Wednesday (except July 4), at 9 a.m., in the Recital Hall, located in the college’s Music Hall (Building H, Room 102). Check-in starts at 8 a.m.

At LSC-Conroe Center, orientation sessions are offered each Thursday, at 3 p.m., in Room 105. Check-in starts at 2 p.m.

Students must pre-register online for Maverick Connection at www.LoneStar.edu/Montgomery-Orientation. A registration confirmation will be sent via email within two business days.
