College's Jazz Ensemble Kicks Off Spring Concert Tour with “Caravan”



Before embarking on a tour to Austin, Texas, the Lone Star College-Montgomery Jazz Ensemble will perform “Caravan” on Tuesday, March 6, at 7:30 p.m., in the Recital Hall, located in the college’s Music Hall (Building H).

The Jazz Ensemble will present a toe-tapping, rip-roaring concert of jazz favorites for everyone to enjoy. The performance will include an array of new works for the modern jazz ensemble, as well classic charts from the Big Band era including the tour theme Caravan by Duke Ellington. You won’t want to miss this concert!

Tickets are $10 for general admission; $5 for students; or $25 for general admission and donation that includes a CD of the LSC-Montgomery music department.
