Symphony Orchestra Debuts at “MusicMatters” Nov. 3

Add a little music to your month with the “MusicMatters” concert set Thursday, Nov. 3 at Lone Star College-CyFair.

For the first show of the LSC-CyFair fall season, the Symphonic Band and the String Ensemble have combined forces to debut the new Symphony Orchestra.

“To help commemorate the evening, celebrity Jim Pruett, of radio and TV’s NewsFix fame, has agreed to emcee the show. We are so excited about this. I can’t stop smiling!” said Dr. John Wolfskill, music director.  “There are more surprises to come, so join us for an unforgettable evening of ‘MusicMatters.’”

The 7:30 p.m. concert will be held in the Main Stage Theatre, located in the Center for the Arts building on the Barker Cypress campus at 9191 Barker Cypress.

Tickets are $10 for general admission and $5 for seniors and students with valid id. Group discounts are available.
