Four Lone Star College-CyFair and LSC-Fairbanks Center students recently won spring registration raffles with two winners of the grand prize, which covers payment of tuition and fees up to $500, and two winners of $200 in bookstore gift cards. 

Grand prize tuition winners are Jairo Chamorro from LSC-CyFair and Savanah Flores from LSC-Fairbanks Center, while the bookstore gift card winners are Jevitta Benjamin from LSC-CyFair and Patricia Garcia from LSC-Fairbanks Center.

With the launch of the Lone Star College System’s new myLoneStar registration process, which no longer includes registration and payment via phone, the goal of this spring registration campaign was to encourage students to register and pay early and to see advisors, thus avoiding long lines, particularly during heavy registration periods.

“Registering and paying early is also a great way to ensure that you have the classes you want for the spring semester, not to mention reduces stress and anxiety,” said Ashlie Flores, director of advising and financial aid.

LSC-CyFair offers a variety of flexible class options such as weekend, evening and distance learning for spring classes which start Jan. 18.  Payment plan, financial aid and scholarships are available.
