Take a tour, learn about campus programs, meet with an advisor, choose a schedule and register for spring classes at Lone Star College-CyFair’s free New Student Orientations.

“During orientation, students will meet student leaders, faculty and staff; learn their way around campus and find out about all the student services and academic programs available at LSC-CyFair,” said Director of Outreach and Retention Christine Timmerman. “Students will also have a chance to receive academic advising and to register for classes.”

New Student Orientations are available November through January as follows:

November
• Tuesday, Nov.9, 5 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.
• Thursday, Nov. 18, 9 a.m.- 11:30 a.m.
• Tuesday, Nov. 30, 5 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.

December
• Thursday, Dec. 9, 9 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
• Tuesday, Dec. 14, 5 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.

January
• Tuesday, Jan. 4, 9 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
• Tuesday, Jan. 4, 5 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.
• Thursday, Jan. 6, 9 a.m.- 11:30 a.m.
• Thursday, Jan. 6, 1:30 p.m. - 4 p.m.
• Tuesday, Jan. 11, 9 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
• Tuesday, Jan. 11, 5 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.
• Thursday, Jan. 13, 9 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
• Thursday, Jan. 13, 1:30 p.m. - 4 p.m.

All sessions are free, but space is limited and students must pre-register online at http://www.zoomerang.com/Survey/WEB22BCMDZ32FM to receive a confirmation with room location and parking information.

All orientation sessions will be held in the Technology Building, room 102 (except Nov. 18 which will be in room 101) at the campus at 9191 Barker Cypress Road at West Road.
