Lone Star College- Tomball students (from left to right) Matt Long, Jessica Kelly, Jason Tilton, Kerri O’Neal and Emily Posch perform a scene from the upcoming theater presentation of Over The River and Through the Woods.
The Lone Star College Theatre program will present its production of “Over the River and Through the Woods,” Feb. 18 – 20 at 7:30 p.m. in the Black Box Theatre.

Written by Joe DiPietro, this engaging comedy about family relationships will be LSC-Tomball’s entry into the Texas Community College Speech and Theatre Association state play festival to be held Feb. 24-27  at Blinn College in Brenham.

The story centers around Nick, a single, Italian-American guy from New Jersey who routinely visits both sets of his grandparents for Sunday dinner.  The job he has been waiting for would take him away from his beloved, but annoying grandparents.  This results in a series of schemes to keep Nick around.

Tickets are $10 for the general public and $8 for students, seniors and college employees.  For information, please call 281-357-3654.
