Lone Star College-Montgomery Welcomes New Senior Professional Analyst

Dr. Chris Tkach, the new senior professional analyst at Lone Star College-Montgomery, will help the college stay focused on its overall strategic plan.Lone Star College-Montgomery is pleased to welcome Dr. Chris Tkach as the new senior professional analyst for institutional research and effectiveness. Tkach, who started working at the college in mid October, will focus on providing data analysis to support the college’s decision-making and help the college stay focused on its overall strategic plan.

Tkach received his Ph.D. in social and personality psychology from the University of California Riverside and a bachelor’s degree in economics from Rutgers University.

Formerly a project manager and analyst with Sterling Research Group in Saint Petersburg, Fla., and a research analyst for the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene in Baltimore, Md., Tkach has over five years experience in running both simple and multivariate statistical analysis and generating reports and recommendations based on the data.

Throughout his career, Tkach has managed multiple programs simultaneously and successfully, including some Fortune 500 clients. In addition, he has passed along his knowledge as a mentor to junior colleagues and as a lecturer and teaching assistant at the University of California Riverside.

“It is with great excitement that I moved from Florida to fill the position at LSC-Montgomery,” said Tkach. “In this role, I have the opportunity to do research and help improve the lives of students through education. What could be better than that?”
