Sugar Art and Wire Wrapped Jewelry classes set for early fall at LSC-North Harris

This fall, Lone Star College-North Harris continuing education leisure learning program is offering two unique courses–Basic Sugar Art and Wire Wrapped Jewelry.

 

Basic Sugar Art will be offered Monday evenings, Oct. 5 through Oct. 26, 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. In this course you will be introduced to sugar art and will learn tips and tricks for creating beautiful and realistic edible art objects. Instructor Elaina Pyle will guide you through four different sugar media.  Students will purchase supplies. Fees for the class are $35, $28 dollars for senior citizens.

 

Once you have completed Basic Sugar Art, continue with Elaina Pyle in letting your creative spirit flow by turning stones, gems, beads, and found objects into beautiful jewelry in a Wire Wrapped Jewelry class.  Also offered on Mondays, start date for this class is Oct. 26, through Nov. 16, 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Cost for this course is $38, $31.60 for senior citizens.
