Life After LSC-Montgomery – Find Your Next Step

Lone Star College-Montgomery will host College Transfer Day on Thursday, September 17, from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. in the college’s Commons area (Building A).

Representatives from universities and colleges will be on campus to provide transfer information about their school to students, as well as community members.

“College Transfer Day is a great opportunity to meet with university representatives to learn more about transferring to their schools, including the degree programs offered and the transfer requirements,” said Michelle Haynes, program manager for career counseling at LSC-Montgomery.

The event is helpful not only for those seeking to initially take classes at LSC-Montgomery, but also for students who are ready to begin their upper-level coursework.

Some of the universities represented at this event are: University of Houston, Texas Tech University, DeVry University, University of Texas at Austin, Baylor University, as well as Lone Star College-University Center.

College Transfer Day is a monthly event, occurring four times during the fall semester. The other upcoming College Transfer Day events are: Tuesday, October 27; Wednesday, November 18; and Tuesday, December 1. All events occur from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. in the college’s Commons area (Building A).
