Dual Credit at CFISD

LSC-CyFair and CFISD have an agreement allowing students who meet eligibility requirements to earn both high school credit and college credit for specific high school courses.

College Academy

The College Academy is a dual credit program providing high school students with the opportunity to earn a high school diploma from CFISD while simultaneously receiving an Associate of Science degree from LSC-CyFair.

CARE Academy

LSC-CyFair and CFISD have a unique partnership benefiting high school seniors by offering college prep classes in English and Math. This partnership program is called the College Awareness Readiness and Education (CARE) Academy. English IV on-level and Advanced Algebra classes taught in CFISD were aligned by both ISD and college faculty with college readiness standards to help students achieve their Best Start in college.

Workforce Dual Credit

Workforce Dual Credit is designed to allow high school students to earn both high school and college credit for career and technical education classes. LSC-CyFair and CFISD have a partnership allowing students to work towards a Certificate or an Associate degree in a workforce program of study.
