Finding Your Textbooks
You can find the necessary textbooks for your classes by using the class search tool on the website or by logging in to myLoneStar. After entering your search criteria, click the "TextBook Information" link for your class.
Textbook requirements are also available through your faculty syllabi and can be found using the syllabi search tool. Financial Aid students can get more information about how to acquire books through our book advances page.
A student of this institution is not under any obligation to purchase a textbook from a Lone Star College System affiliated bookstore. The same textbook may also be available from an independent retailer, including an online retailer.
Campus Bookstores
We have bookstore locations at each LSC campus, and there is the added convenience of an online ordering system. Our bookstores sell your required textbooks, study aids, supplies, and of course the latest LSC clothes and accessories.
The bookstore accepts cash, checks and all major credit cards. Different sections may use different books for the same course so bring your class schedule to the bookstore (or double-check your syllabus if ordering online) to ensure that you purchase the appropriate books.
Ordering Your Books Online
Use myLoneStar to obtain the course 4-letter prefix, course number, and section number of your course (Ex: ENGL*1301*4003).
In order to find your course and purchase through the online bookstore you will need to know which campus or center is offering the course. The first digit of the section number of each Lone Star College course indicates the college. Use these section numbers when ordering your books:
