ARTC 1302: Digital Imaging I
Digital imaging using raster image editing and/or image creation software: scanning, resolution, file formats, output devices, color systems, and image-acquisitions. Prerequisite: competent knowledge of either Macintosh or Windows operating system.

ARTC 1313: Digital Publishing I
The fundamentals of using digital layout as a primary publishing tool and basic concepts and terminology associated with typography and page layout. Prerequisites: ENGL 0305 or ENGL 0316 and ENGL 0307 or 0326, or higher level course (ENGL 1301), or placement by testing.

ARTC 2305: Digital Imaging II
Principles of digital image processing and electronic painting. Emphasis on bitmapped or raster-based image marking and the creative aspects of electronic illustration for commercial and fine art applications. Prerequisites: ARTC 1302.

IMED 1301: Introduction to Multimedia
A survey of the theories, elements, and hardware/software components of multimedia. Topics include digital image editing, digital sound and video editing, animation, web page development, and interactive presentations. Emphasis on conceptualizing and producing effective multimedia presentations. Prerequisite: None.

IMED 1316: Web Page Design I
Instruction in web page design and related graphic design issues including mark-up languages, web sites, and browsers. Prerequisites: ENGL 0305 or ENGL 0316 and ENGL 0307 or 0326, or higher level course (ENGL 1301), or placement by testing.

GRPH 2380: Cooperative Education
Career-related activities encountered in the student's area of specialization offered through an individualized agreement among the college, employer and student. Under the supervision of the college and the employer, the student combines classroom learning with work experience. Includes a lecture component. Prerequisites: Departmental approval; meets requirements for final semester.
