Professional:
Kitzmiller's private teaching career began in 1972. Ms. K has taught music classes as part of the adjunct faculty at Montgomery College in Conroe, North Harris and Kingwood, including Class Piano, Fundamentals, Music Appreciation, Music Theory, American Music and Music Literature. Ms. Kitzmiller has accompanied the choirs, juries and performed in teacher and student recitals.

She judges piano festivals and contests frequently as well as staying active in Music Teachers organizations. Ms. K is currently pursuing her love of composing and plans to have piano solos and ensembles published in the future. Her son is a sophomore in cello at The Curtis Institute of Music, and her daughter is a senior in psychology at UT Permian Basin.
