LSC-Montgomery Human Resources Director

Rachael Covey is an experienced PHR-certified business professional and the Human Resources Director at Lone Star College-Montgomery. With more than 10 years of experience in higher education, she has experience specifically in the areas of human resources, employee recruiting, training, organizational development, and change management.

Before assuming the position of Director of Human Resources, Rachael held various positions at Lone Star College. In 2021 she acted as the Human Resources Director at Lone Star College-Tomball and a recruiter supporting multiple campuses. In addition to her current role, Rachael worked as Adjunct Faculty, Human Relations, and HR Management, Training Specialist, Recruiter II, and Human Resources Specialist, providing her with a strong background within the Human Resources field.

Rachel’s dedication to education and leadership is reflected in her academic achievements. She earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from Stephen F. Austin State University and a Master of Science in Educational Human Resources Development from Texas A&M University. She also holds a Professional Human Resources Certification (PHR).

Rachael Covey’s passion for her work extends beyond her professional life, as she is actively involved in community initiatives and serves as an inspiration to those around her. She is committed to building meaningful relationships and making a difference at Lone Star College-Montgomery.
