The University of Houston-Downtown (UHD) is a community of diverse faculty, staff, students, and regional partners dedicated to nurturing talent, generating knowledge, and driving socioeconomic mobility. The UHD Northwest campus is located inside Lone Star College -University Park providing a convenient transfer option for Lone Star College students who live or work in the northwest area.
UHD has a close collaboration with Lone Star College (LSC), offering a 2+2 years =bachelor's degree pathway for students.
Here is how it works:
- Step 1: Associate degree completion: Students can complete their associate degree within 2 years at Lone Star College.
- Step 2: Seamless transfer: Afterward, students can seamlessly transfer to UHD to complete their final 2 years, earning a bachelor’s degree. You can either study in-person at the UHD Northwest campus - based at Lone Star College-University Park, online or hybrid.
- Step 3: Advanced degrees: Beyond the bachelor’s level, students can pursue master’s at UHD.
