Welcome to the LSC-Montgomery Food Pantry where our mission is to help meet the food needs of all members of the community.
New Name and Location - Opening Soon!
We are excited to share that the LSC-Montgomery Food Pantry will soon open in a new location and with a new name! The new Maverick Care Center will officially open on January 13, 2025 and will be located in Building C, 2nd Floor. The Maverick Care Center will feature a food pantry, community resources and the clothing closet.
* Please note that during the Winter Holiday Break, the campus Food Pantry will be closed. It will reopen on January 13, 2025.

How to Volunteer
The LSC-Montgomery Food Pantry is run in partnership with Student Services and faculty, staff and student volunteers. If you wish to volunteer, please email MC-FoodPantry@lonestar.edu and someone will be in contact with you shortly with volunteer time slots.

How to Donate Items
The Food Pantry welcomes all donations, as it is a self-supporting program. If you are interested in donating, please review the items and options listed below. Donated items may also be dropped off in Building E, 1st Floor in the basket outside of the Food Pantry.
Specific Items in Need
We depleted our reserves of almost everything! The following items are the staple products we provide in each of our bags. We would love any and all donations of these items:

Give to the Food Pantry through the Employee Giving Campaign
Participating in the Employee Giving Campaign through Payroll Deduction is a great way to support our campus Food Pantry! Just a little bit from each paycheck from so many goes a long way in ensuring our Food Pantry is stocked to support our students, as it allows us to purchase the needed items in a cost-efficient manner.
