Virtual Commencement
Saturday, May 10th at 10 am
Lone Star College-Online Campus will hold a Virtual Commencement on Saturday, May 10, 2025, to celebrate our graduates. The virtual ceremony is a great opportunity to celebrate the hard work, dedication, and achievements of our students. It will allow our graduates to celebrate among friends and family at their own watch party.
2025 Commencement includes:

Fall 2024 Graduates

Spring 2025 Candidates = Students who applied by April 1st.

Summer 2025 Candidates = Students who applied for graduation and registered for any remaining classes (two or less)
Graduation Notice Disclaimer
Please note that participation in the ceremony does not guarantee graduation from Lone Star College. Graduates must meet all requirements and competencies before degrees will be issued and must not have any outstanding financial obligations to Lone Star College System. It is the student’s responsibility to ensure that all requirements are complete.
Student Caps & Gowns
All students participating in the LSC-Online Commencement ceremony are encouraged to wear a black cap & gown. Caps & gowns may be purchased from any vendor including the campus bookstore or borrowed from a previous graduate or family member.

Diploma
Diplomas will be mailed from the System Office (not individual campuses) after requirements are certified. Mailings will occur in mid-June for May graduates, mid-September for summer graduates, and mid-February for December graduates. Questions? Diplomas are printed at our System Office. Please allow 6-8 weeks after the degree has been posted to the academic transcript.
Stoles, Cords, and Tassels
All graduates who have earned stoles, cords, and tassels through the following academic achievement organizations, may wear the college-approved stoles, cords, and/or tassels.
- Honors College
- Phi Theta Kappa
- Veterans
- First Generation
- International
Orders take up to 14 days to receive, so be sure to order soon if you're going to wear your cap and gown in your photo or video submission.
Diploma

Replacement Diplomas
Replacement diplomas requested one year after the posted graduation date will incur a $25 fee. To request a Diploma Reprint form and payment options, please contact our campus Graduation Team via email at OL-Graduation@lonestar.edu
Diploma Covers
Graduates and Graduate Candidates will receive their diplomas through the mail to the address specified on the graduation application. Diplomas are printed at our system office and 6-8 weeks after the degree is posted to the academic transcript.

Graduate Profile Clip Submission - RSVP Deadline: Saturday, 05/03
Please create your profile to provide your preferred name, pronunciation, a photo, and/or a video clip for your graduate slide. Graduates who choose not to submit a video will still be recognized with their full name and degree awarded.
