Graduates Receive Tool Kits for Success
Did you know mechanics have to bring their own tools to work? With the help of the Foundation, LSC-North Harris awarded Snap On tool kits to graduates of the automotive and diesel technology programs to help them get a jump-start on their new careers.
Industrial Diesel Technology & Automotive Technician Graduates
A total of 70 kits, valued at $197,000, were purchased by the Foundation. The majority of the students have already received job placement in their respective fields and have begun work according to Tom Robertson, director, Career and Applied Technology.
