If you attended StarGala 2017, you DEFINITELY remember Josiah Crosby, a student at LSC-North Harris pursuing his associate's degree in communication. Josiah shared his personal and moving story of success with 600 guests at StarGala 2017. (Enjoy his speech by clicking HERE). As a result, long-time Foundation and college supporter Follett stepped up and offered to cover Josiah's books for the remainder of his academic journey at Lone Star College!
"Both myself and my managers have a personal attachment to Lone Star students," says Gregory Bason, Regional Director, Follett. "Many of them work in our stores. We know their families, their stories, and their struggles. I have seen students come to the register and have to pick and choose the most important books because they can't afford them all."
Follett has already committed to serving as the Tournament Sponsor for the 2017 Drive for Scholarships Golf Tournament, as well as a Visionary Sponsor for this year's StarGala, scheduled for April 14, 2018. For their generosity, Follett is recognized in the Celebration Circle!
