Now, it is time to apply for graduation to get the diploma and/or certificate you have worked so hard for! Commencement is an excellent opportunity to celebrate your hard work, dedication, and achievements. It is with immense pride, the Baccalaureate program leadership, faculty, and staff would like to congratulate you on your candidacy for graduation.
Two-Step Graduation Process
All Lone Star College students must apply for graduation online.
The Graduation application is located in your myLoneStar Student portal. Please click the link below in the Graduation Application section.
Step 1: Apply to get your diploma (Required)
The final step toward earning your Bachelor's degree you've worked so hard to achieve is about to commence.
Step 2: RSVP for the Commencement Ceremony
Participation in the Bachelor's Commencement ceremony is optional, but you must RSVP.

All students participating in the LSC Bachelor Commencement ceremony must wear a black cap and gown. You may purchase your cap and gown from any vendor, or you may borrow from a previous graduate.
Announcements and Diplomas Frames may be purchased through Herff Jones.
Stoles, Cords and Tassels: Cords will be provided to veteran students and students that are graduating with honors. All other cords, stoles, and tassels will need to be obtained by the student from their respective organizations.

- The 2025 LSC Bachelor Commencement ceremony will be streamed live. The link for the livestream will be posted the week of graduation. Photographs from the ceremony will be emailed to students within a month of graduation.

What's My graduation status?
You can check your graduation status by logging into my.lonestar.edu and following the steps below.
Log in with your LSC email and password Go to the student homepage click on “Completion Progress & Advisor” Then access “Expected Graduation Term”
It will show under Program Status “Completed Program” if you are graduating.
My diploma is missing/destroyed. How can I get a replacement?
Replacement diplomas requested one year after the posted graduation date will incur a $25 fee.
To request a Diploma Reprint form and payment options, please contact our campus Graduation Team via email at LSC.Registrar@lonestar.edu.
Additionally, an email communication will be sent to your my.lonestar.edu email confirming your graduation status.
The email will be sent between 2 - 4 weeks following the commencement ceremony.
When will I receive my diploma?
Diplomas will be mailed from the System Office (not individual campuses) and typically take 6-8 weeks for arrival.
Please check your student profile to verify a degree has been awarded before requesting an official transcript.
