Inspired by a passionate discussion with Amlan Datta, an Economics Professor at Lone Star College-Online, philanthropic couple, Satish and Kamlesh Agarwal wished to make a difference.
Lone Star College Foundation and Comcast have partnered to ensure LSC students in Montgomery County have the technology and digital literacy needed to succeed in the classroom.
The Chesmar Foundation has donated over $600,000 through Lone Star College Foundation to help LSC students become trained and compassionate nurses. The scholarships cover the nursing students' total program costs, helping to alleviate financial concerns.
