In order to assist in your learning more about physical therapy as a career and the particular requirements of our program, you are strongly encouraged to attend an information session.  No reservations are needed. These sessions are held on the Lone Star College Montgomery campus.

 PSB Health Occupations Aptitude Exam is open for students to begin testing at the LSC-Montgomery Campus only.

 Last date to take the PSB Health Occupations Aptitude Exam.                                                         

 May 22, 2014

 Deadline to apply online and turn in all documentation (including printed and signed application and score sheet) to the B120 office suite by 4:00 p.m.

 June 26, 2014

 Interviews for the top applicants for the PTA program.

 July 3, 2014

 Acceptance Letters mailed to candidates interviewed.

Licensure and Accreditation

In order to practice as a physical therapist assistant (PTA), a person must be licensed by the Texas Board of Physical Therapy Examiners. To take the PTA licensing exam, a person must be a graduate of a PTA educational program which is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education. The program received re-accreditation in April 2007.
