Published on: April 24, 2014Lone Star College-Kingwood’s General Education Development (GED) graduation ceremony and reception will be held May 15 at 6:30 p.m. in the college’s gymnasium (Fitness Training Center).
GED graduates, who passed the exam April 2013– December 2013, will participate in a traditional cap and gown ceremony.
Dr. Keri Rogers, vice chancellor of academic affairs for Lone Star College System, and Dr. Darrin Rankin vice president student success for Lone Star College-Kingwood will address the graduates. Dr. Katherine Persson, LSC-Kingwood president will present commemorative letters and certificates to the graduates.
LSC-Kingwood is an official General Educational Development preparation and testing center in partnership with Education Service Center Region VI. All GED preparation classes are free. Prior to enrolling in classes, students must attend a 3-day GED Orientation and assessment.
