Dr. Earl Holt is Professor of Music and Department Chair of Performing Arts at Lone Star College–Montgomery, where he teaches music theory, ear training, and music history courses. He has served on the faculties of Lone Star College-North Harris (1997-2005), Arizona State University (1990-92, 1996-97), Chandler-Gilbert College (1996-97), and San Jacinto College North (1981-90). Dr. Holt has contributed articles and reviews to The Diapason, the official journal of the International Society for Organ History and Preservation, and authored the published report for the American Guild of Organists 1998 national convention in Denver. He has appeared widely as an organ recitalist and has served as Organist/Choirmaster in churches across the nation. He also serves on the Ethics Committee and the Commission on Music & General Education for the Texas Association of Music Schools.
