Articulation Questions
Articulation agreements provide a seamless transition for students moving from one level of education to another by matching curriculum to reduce duplication of course content. Articulation agreements exist between Lone Star College System (LSCS) and various universities, independent school districts, private secondary schools, community education courses and other training and certification entities. The agreements allow students to earn college credit for competencies outside of the traditional community college classroom.

Transfer to a University

Articulation agreements exist between Lone Star College System (LSCS) and various universities, independent school districts, private secondary schools, community education courses and other training and certification entities. The agreement allows students to earn college credit for competencies outside of the traditional community college classroom that they may then transfer to a college or university.

Transfer to LSCS

If you have earned credits from another college or university, you will need to follow certain steps before being able to register for classes at Lone Star College System

AAS Transfer

Students completing AAS degrees often decide that they do want to continue their education and elect to pursue a bachelor's degree.

University Center

The LSC-University Center offers junior, senior and graduate level classes through partnerships with several universities. Students who enroll with one of our partner universities at either the Montgomery or University Park locations are able to complete a bachelor's or master's degree (or teaching certficate) without traveling to the university campuses.
