The Office of Public Relations and Community Outreach is responsible for presenting clear, consistent and up-to-date information about the campus, our students and our employees. Our goal is to develop and promote positive community relations, coordinate successful campus events and communicate the many stories of student success, innovation and partnerships that originate from LSC-North Harris.
The communications branch of our department oversees most of the marketing and communications efforts undertaken by the college. This includes creating and implementing the college's marketing plan, providing copy writing for internal and external messaging, maintaining the college's web and social media presence, writing and distributing press releases, and responding to all media inquiries.
If you would like to request assistance from the communications team, please complete a Marketing Services Request.
You may continue to request campus-wide emails by contacting John Luedemann, manager of communications.
Orders for college name tags should be made by completing the Name Tag Order Form and sending it to Alice.G.Quiroga@LoneStar.edu.
The creative services team is responsible for the design and production of the college's marketing materials, as well as much of the campus signage that you see at our locations. This includes posters, yard signs, newsletters, flyers, ads, banners and more.
Requests for creative services should also be sent via a Marketing Services Request.
Our department also oversees or assists with many of the college's events. If you would like to discuss an upcoming event, or are interested in assistance from our events team, please visit our Event Planning page
Designs in Print
Designs in Print is a student-focused initiative launched in 2012. It offers LSC-North Harris Visual Communications students an opportunity to gain real-world experience working on college-related design projects. Designs in Print offers graphic design services to many of the college's student organizations as well as campus departments with an ongoing need for graphic design services. We work closely with Designs in Print to identify projects and clients that are a good fit for their services.
