Bio

Thomas J. Forestier was appointed to the Lone Star Board of Trustees on February 3, 2011.  Tom, who lives in The Woodlands, is a managing shareholder at the Houston office of Winstead Attorneys PC.   His background includes involvement in a number of civic and charitable organizations including the board of directors for the Hispanic Bar Association of Houston, Houston Golf Association, the Hispanic National Bar Association and the Racial Diversity in the Profession Committee of the State Bar of Texas. He has also served as chair of the board of Northwest Assistance Ministries and was a founding school board member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic School

Tom received his BS degree in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Texas and received the Alfred P. Sloan Fellowship, The L.B.J. School of Public Affairs.  He received his Doctor of Jurisprudence from the University of Texas School of Law.
